Bolota Bala Banda
Welcome very much, the Boloto Bala Banda is the band (banda) of the man in front Jakov Dzjoegasjvili. These band comes aus Boloto in Bulgaria and bedeutet swap (moeras/ gebrook). A few of the muzikanten sind farmer (boer/Bala) from in the neiberhoud. That is why we call ourself Boloto (moeras / gebrook) Bala (boeren) Banda (band). Wir habben uns getrent in the conservatorium ‘Ludomir Pipkov’ in Sofia. 

From asperges to vastelaovend
Jakov Dzjoegasjvili is the frontman and leader of the group. Jakov Dzjoegasjvili is a seasonworker who comes to Limburg every year to get the asperges out of the grund. In this period en the many years that Jakov this this work he came in contact mit Limburgse cultur. For the example the OLS und die vastelaovend. Jakov saw this und he was verkauft. Zuruck gekommen in his birthplace Boloto he was full of great stories. Leute verkleidt und mit spass und plezeer, but many because of the music. Jakov found a whay to get his band entousiast and they startet the practice. Und now they are here in the Limburgse Vastelaovends Land um the music to let hear. 

The band
The Bulgarian musicians of the band are raised with the lãutari, roma musicians. These typical gipsy music who they normaly play the now play together witk vastelaovend. And they mix it with Balkan Beats. This brings a combi and some typical Balkan volksmusiek, with a-symmatric meters, fast and slow beats. Traditional music mix with modern pop-, rock- and dance. Ethnic influenses and vastelaovend as main theme, from Eastern Europe to Arib and even latino (mestizo) influences. Something you have never heard before. You can’t sit still and you be blown of your chair. At the end of the show you will stand on the tisch and you will sjoenkel mit.

Jakov Dzjoegasjvili plays the gitar and he hopes to sing beautiful songs for you.
Vladimir Oeljanov he does play on a accordion and does also sing a little bite of beautiful music.
Igor Slavrottimov he blows very load on a trumpet and is very fast in the hand.
Sergei Molotov he is the jew of the band beceause he plays on wood, a clarinet, we don’t like very much but we need him. He also very fast with the hand.
Dimitry Rasputin he has much air in the lungs (just like breast of women) an plays very low on the posaune.
Ivan Pavlov he is al little bite like a retard, thats why he hits on a drum a lof of times.
Alec Bhoarscki he is handsome young man a likes the lady’s very much, he has a big drum so he can play with it.
